Field and Button Descriptions
Name
A useful descriptor of the playlist.
Company
The Company who will own the playlist. All owner-companies of that company will be able to see the playlist, but any of that company's sub-companies will not.
Max Time
This is the maximum amount of time the playlist is allowed. Useful for advertising purposes where a playlist should not exceed a certain threshold. If more files are added to a playlist that go past the Max Time setting it will give a warning, but will still allow it.
Orientation
This feature is used in VAST integrations, and to take content that is "landscape in portrait" and flip it right-side up in a playlist PDF export on the Device Manage page.
Landscape
The content displays in landscape orientation (i.e., wider than it is tall)
Portrait
The content displays in portrait orientation (i.e., taller than it is wide)
Portrait in Landscape
The content is portrait but has been turned 90 degrees counter clockwise for a portrait screen. Enabling this allows VAST integrations (AdOmni, AdStash, Vengo) content to automatically rotate to the correct orientation if using this mode.
Restrict size to:
Ensure that the files are uploaded to the correct size and codecs. Any files not meeting the codec requirements, or your size specifications will receive a warning icon next to their name.
Aspect Ratio
Great if you aren't completely concerned with the exact resolution but still want the files to be the right aspect ratio. For example, a 16x9 aspect ratio enforcement would be fine with 1920x1080 or 3840x2160, but 1921x1080 would not pass muster.
Size (pixels)
Great if you want to ensure that files are not stretched and display exactly as they were designed. In this example, all files would be 3840x2160, but a warning would appear if something was uploaded at 3840x2159.
Save button
Saves the playlist. Any changes or additions will not be saved unless this button is hit.
